Chocolate Milk for the Kids (5/12/16)

Spring sports are in full swing. We have a lot of back to back practices and games, outside activities and a general boost in energy from some, hopefully, good weather on the horizon. With this, it's important the kids eat and drink right.

When I was in high school I was always told that low-fat chocolate milk was the best thing to eat or drink post workout. I just assumed the added sugar had some benefit but never looked into it. I don't like protein drinks as it's tough to tell which ones are legit and which ones have unnecessary processed junk. And I never really liked supplements as they can drain other nutrients from your system.
